An enhanced version of the Xda II integrated PDA and mobile handset. The Xda IIi retains the core functions of the popular Xda II platform. It's a lightweight, voice-enabled PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) with a high quality 1.3 Mp camera, fully integrated Wireless LAN connectivity, a faster 520MHz processor and the latest Windows 2003 2nd edition software.

Did you know that your Xda IIi comes standard with Microsoft Media Player, a pair of headphones and great sound quality? This means you can use your Xda IIi as a music player to listen to digital music files.

All you have to do is copy your digital music files (MP3 or WMA format) stored on your PC to your Xda IIi, then sit back, plug your headphones in and let your Xda IIi play your favourite tunes.

Your Xda IIi offers a full range of messaging services so you can keep in touch when you are out and about:

  • Voicemail will take your calls when you can't. Pick up your messages any time. Voicemail 901 is a simple to use, always-available answering service available to all O2 customers. It takes messages when you can't.
  • Keep your friends and colleagues in the picture. Use Media Messaging from O2 to send and receive pictures, video clips and sound clips on your Xda IIi.
  • Send text messages from your Xda IIi - the quick, convenient and discreet way to communicate with colleagues and business contacts.
  • Use the optional Fax application on your Xda IIi to create, send, receive and view faxes.
  • The Xda IIi includes MSN® Messenger enabling you to have an instant message conversation with groups of contacts (you must have a Microsoft PassportTM account or a Microsoft® Exchange® email account to use this service)

Use your Xda IIi to send and receive email, including attachments. Always on, always ready*, the Xda IIi ensures you are always up-to-date and you can be more responsive.

You can send and receive web-based email straight from your Xda IIi inbox, just like you do on your PC. Depending on your company IT infrastructure you can access your business email and LAN via POP3 email, directly link to your Microsoft® Exchange® Server 2003, using our Mobile Web or our Mobile Web VPN services

Coming soon... From Spring 2005 the Xda IIi will support BlackBerry® connectivity so your email messages can be automatically pushed to your Xda IIi - with no dial-up and no waiting. Come back to this site soon for more information.

Your Xda IIi is a tri-band GPRS Mobile combined with a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant). The tri-band operation gives you access to GSM networks worldwide. In terms of mobile data, two independent surveys* have selected O2 as having the best UK GPRS network.
