Music on your Xda II - How to Guide - Xda II, IIi and IIs
First things first...
1. You will need to have Microsoft ActiveSync 3.7 installed on your computer. All Xda II devices come with this software on a CD in the box, but just in case you have lost it, to download from the Microsoft site for free
2. After you have installed the software, simply insert your Xda II into its cradle (which should be plugged into the USB socket of your PC) and follow the on screen instructions to create a link between your Xda II and your PC
Moving music...
1. Simply open your Windows File Explorer under the Start menu on your PC
2. Find the folder where your music files (MP3 or WMA) are stored, select and copy your music files (Control C or right click and select Copy from the menu)
3. Find and select the folder called Mobile Device in Windows File Explorer and paste (Control V) files under an appropriate folder on your Xda II
Playing Music...
1. Simply open Windows Media Player from the main menu on your Xda II
2. Click on the Playlist option in the bottom left corner to automatically bring up a list of all video and music files
3. Select the music track you would like to play, then select the blue play icon at the bottom of the screen to start playing your music
4. Make sure you have your headphones plugged in for the best listening experience!
